CHELSEA

GRAY

-- is a born and raised Californian that grew up in an anti-organized religion, liberal household in an overwhelmingly religious, conservative town. Since then, she's been fascinated by the sometimes hilarious, sometimes heartbreaking dualities that exist in life and has subsequently turned that fascination into a writing career.

Chelsea has been recognized as a Notable Writer by the 2018 New York Television Festival, a finalist (with special mention) by the 2018 ScreenCraft Pilot Competition, a 2nd rounder for the 2018 Sundance Episodic Lab, a quarterfinalist for the 2021 Screencraft Fellowship and a semifinalist for the 2021 Screencraft Comedy Competition. She's worked behind the scenes on television shows such as Veep, Cobra Kai, House of Cards, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and is currently working on a new animated series, WondLa, for Apple TV+.

Chelsea also explores writing in other mediums: she's written on various scripted podcasts for the Parcast network on Spotify and her personal essays have been published by Vox, The Cut and Hellogiggles. Chelsea is also a freelance content & copywriter: you can find her portfolio here.

Chelsea would argue she has no real hobbies, however, she has nailed the art of tracking down nearly anyone on the internet and can break down the chaotic details of Fleetwood Mac's Rumours album in her sleep. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband and her rescue pup, Stevie Licks.
